Default Has anyone in the Houston area gutted OEM cats?

I have a set of cats off of my old 03' z laying around the garage, and I wanted to gut them and put them on my 06. Anyone have any experience doing this? What tools are needed to do the job? Anyone want to help?

don't the resonated TPs eliminate the rasp? if that be the case, you could go that route... unless you are looking to go the cost efficient route...

They are just sitting in the gargage. Just looking to do something with them...better than throwing them away. All I need is a big flathead.

Do you guys have trouble passing emissions testing for car inspection with the gutted cats/test pipes? Or do you swap some stock cats back in to pass?
