Freon re-charge

Exclamation Freon re-charge

Just replaced the upper AC line due to a rubbing issue with the oil return line from the SC... JUST NEED FREON ASAP!!! Anyone know how to recharge it or have anywhere to recommend to get it done in the San Antonio area? Let me know...

Couldnt you just buy the recharge kit from AutoZone?

Yep, only dealer or shop are allowed to do the newer freon.

well just went to Autozone and picked up a r134a recharge kit...my AC is kicking cold air... thanks anyways....

Thats what I would have done, retards!!! Why would they think that you couldn't buy the new approved refigerant. Its is easy enough to do yourself, just make sure you don't get the high & low pressure hoses confused.

It was originally that way when it first came out. I guess they changed things since then.

yup...it is a little hard to get it confused when it had and H and a L for the ac lines.... anyways the chit works great!!! Thanks career point!!!!
