^ Ichiba ($129) is the same thing and cheaper than SPC ($174).
I only mention SPL ($274) as their products are beefier. I still want the SPL's mid-link so I can use the lockout washers to keep my toe static while allowing greater toe adjustability in the first place.

Not even in the same category.
I saw a pic of the two and they looked identical minus the colors. How are they different? I guess I may have to spend more than $129 then.
They do look identical, but the Ichiba are made from lower grade materials. Talk to Jason about them. He can tell you in engineer jargon about the material grades and why the SPC is better. I trust his info and judgment along with the fact that there are horror stories about the Ichiba and not so much with the SPC.

That is great news to hear Jody !

We miss hanging with you also.....
So on that note........I have a huge thank you to Jake & Pat for helping oout with the Diff install yesterday. We pretty much started around 8:30 and had a few snags...but we got her in and works freakin' awesome.....feels great. I will have to get used to it over the next few days.
So the here's a recap of what got installed:
Swapped pumki's for 3.7 gears / my 3.3 pumkin is out
Installed a Quiafe 1.5 way LSD
Replaced Diff bushings for Solid Diff bushings
replaced Diff cover for a Finned Nismo cover
* in addition to my helpers, Another huge help was Ilya.....he showed up like a Russian Angel out of nowhere right when we were in the middle of our snag and helped out like a Champ ! So thanks Ilya

Also, noticeable mention was Stu...who was there for moral support while detailing Jakes Titan. Stu did also lend a hand and turned some wrenches.
I will see him later today as we get his HFC's off and put his cats on.
Thanks again to you guys for helping on a huge install.

Hey Stu, when do you head back to Cali? I've got to get my motorcycle buffed or something. It's got all black bodywork that's gone 5 years without a real detail. Swirls galore.

I've never done a bike before, but I can give it a shot. It has a clear coat right? Hardest part might be getting to all the tight places, since I use ~7 inch pads.

I'm sore as Hell also...damn neck muscles are stiff.

I would have Jake do the swap when you find yours....he knows his Shiet !

I just effed up and bought a solid black bike. For a long time I've wanted to get it repainted to match the PPW Z, but can't justify the couple of quotes I've gotten to do it.
Looks nice Chris,
To bad all the upgrade penalty points will now through you out of contention in the VQ series.
Looks like I have sept 11 off so I'll be at mineral wells.
Car should be home from the shop this week and new rims and rs3 will be in also.

All the bodywork comes off with ease so that may help. I dunno, just thought I'd see if you were interested. I was guessing you'd never done a bike before. Most people don't ever mess with using an orbital on a bike I guess.

Just let me know when you want to do it, I'd certainly at least give it a try.
Your bike does look awesome Eric. I still want to learn to ride one day. I don't know about a 7" pad on a bike though lol, but you can definitely polish the bike up. Probably would be much better/easier with a 4" pad. I would think it'd be harder if you pull the panels off, not sure what you'd be able to use to hold it in place.
