My dad drives an all-wheel drive FX35 I think it's a 2011 or 2012 I don't remember. It's a pretty nice DD.
On a side note, after I make my preorder tomorrow we will need 2 more people to throw down to get our aerosyncs made!! LETS DO THIS PLEASE https://my350z.com/forum/body-exteri...yurethane.html

Thanks Jeremiah.....same to you.
You gonna make it out to MW for the AutoX on the 28th ?
Hopefully we will get a new place to drive in Crandall....there has been rumored talks of it happening. Could a better drive for some of us.

^ Are you talking about Dallas Raceway, Crandall? It's about the same distance for me, so that's probably going to be farther for you guys that live around I35/121/114.
I hope the drag strip's open, too. That'd be awesome if I can go autox and then drag race during breaks or something.

I saw that SCCA was going to be out in Crandall next month. Anybody know more about the site? From google maps it looks like a descent sized area, maybe similar to TMS

I'll actually be jumping out of an airplane that day.
Crandall is still about a hour from me I think, from the last time I went down there. I don't care though, I am game. I just need my car back lol.

It's a pretty big parking lot, and that's from when I was out there during drag racing so trailers filled up a lot of it. I imagine we could use the staging lanes for pits and have the whole lot available.
Dallas Raceway is concrete, I believe. It's newly built (relatively) so it should be good, clean surface although I'm sure there will be some debris. There will be light poles and lots of trash cans, unless somebody moves them all. The staging area is separated by a fence and is a pretty good size, too.
It could use another coat of wax.

So I don't think it will be open....that is why they are leasing out the Parking lot for AutoX.
sounds like my throwout bearing is a rattle can -
I didn't think Dallas Raceway was bankrupt - website doesn't show any signs of it anyways - but ZOMG thats a lot of driving on 635 to get there lol

When you gonna test fit those sides ? You may have to enlarge some of the predrilled areas I fixed....I didn't want to drill too large a hole if it wasn't needed. I hope all the holes line up since yours is an '08
And, yeah, I was just kidding about hoping they're open. There won't be enough room for the drag racers with the autox event going on there. I miss drag racing.

Chris F, we need to set up a detail. Maybe something with the Brackens also if they are interested? They were really nice so I'd want to do it for them if they are interested.
