Its not so much hard as it its tedious. Dude you can find good prices. I know I have a de but I paid $260 for mine shipped.

i got it from z1 motorsports, $230 total.. you can get straight from zspeed for about the same price. Z1 has always done me right when it comes to shipping, i ordered wednesday afternoon and i got it friday early afternoon. if you dont mind the bare aluminum it is $50 cheaper.... but since i am OCD and my car all black, i think i would drive me crazy knowing it was under there sticking out like a sore thumb (i know you wouldnt ever see it, but not the point!!)

Oh got the car dynoed after changing the oil for the 4th time. lol steve got 355hp and 350 tq. Lil less power on this engine pushing same amount of boost since im running lower compression. Also the 5at is slipping under power so now its time to drop in the 6mt, 1000cc injectors and aeromotive 340. Gotta pick up a stage 4 clutch and boost controller than back to steves.

Well it sounds good to me....But you know next weekend is Father's Day.

I have some plans in the later part of the afternoon....but in the am I might be okay. Are we talking Skeet range or Pistol ? Because they are separate out there and each on cost money to use. Skeet would be fun...but someone should make sure there isn't an event going on out there....I have seen that place packed before from a Radio event and you would never get a skeet range until they are done.

 

Hopefully I'm of this weekend but I'm not sure yet. Headers are new and are Megan racing. Alot of people don't like Megan racing because they think cheap parts means crap parts but I've never seen a major issue with any of their products. I have their coilovers as well.

 

I am actually off next week in like a million years. The stars have lined up and I will be available to come out. I will bring the Gas piston ar .223/5.56, the CMMG A/R with .22lr conversion and .223/5.56 and the kimber ultra carry II .45acp. Let me know if you guys are done for some good times. I will drag jake as long as he is not working his day job. Gonna make sure he does not line up an install so we can have a good turn out. I got plenty of ammo and got it really cheap so we can all just pitch in and have a good time.

 

what we need to figure out is which we want to do, pistol or shotgun side. i am down for either.

 

wonder if the de headers are diff from the hr ones.... i was looking at stillen and momentum. the stillen are $620, and momentum are $750. seriously let me know when you are tackling it, i would like to come see how hard it is (and help if needed).

 

Jake was saying there its actually less room to work with for the hr than the de since the hr motor is bigger. I think we are doing it sometime not this week but the week after. I want it done before the autox on the 23rd.
