Chris, What did they end up changing on your radio when you had the reception issue?
I had that same poor reception last year and then it fixed itself last year. Now its back, crazy thing is it happend both times after the race at mineral wells. It acts like something loose but I have pulled and played with all the wires and connections I can get at, from the radio all the way to taking the antenna amp and antenna off and back on.

I haven't had any issues after they fixed them all.
I hope you don't have to go thru that.
Thanks, going to poke around a bit more.
Your Chokes will effect how much of a pattern the buck shot disperses over a given area. With a full or tight choke, the buck shot stays relatively in a tight pattern up to a certain distance. And a wide or Skeet choke will spray or have a wider pattern right out of the barrel... so better for closer up subjects.
For farther away subjects you would want your shot to stay tighter for a longer period so you will have more shot hitting your target.

Scott, I have a face plate from my original unit after the CD changer got jammed. Do you have the 6 disc changer head unit or the basic one ?
I thought you can try to change out the front face plate and see if that helps anything.
Plus, Dove season is gonna start up in 2 weeks and peeps will be out shooting to get back into the swing of things.
And I haven't heard of a mic on our Z that controls volume....maybe on newer models....but I don't think I have that feature.
That's just Speed Controlled Volume (SCV). It's been on cars for years. All it does is increase the volume based on your vehicle speed to overcome road/wind noise. There's no sensor or microphone as it's all pre-programmed. You can even adjust how sensitive it is to your speed.
Mike, need to get you to take some good pics of my car..... have to say yours are always awesome
