Mike, I actually find AutoX a bit more Challenging than the track driving....I guess it's because your not turning sharp and braking hard while on the Track.

I just like the Track because you are at higher speeds and I like the Twisties and elevation changes.....reminds me of the Canyons in So. Cal.

You should come out and just be a passenger at the least !

 

I think autox is better for getting techniques down while tracks are better for learning race lines.

 

If 2013 is anything like 2012 we will see Travis spectate two events and Mike will continue to post OLD track day photos and pretend like he's coming to the next event.

 

DUDE!!! (haha) finally someone else with and HR..... i had my car tuned there... nothing but good things to say about him... but to let you know... dont get disappointed with numbers. i went from 265 pretune to 275 post tune...10 horse may not seem like much but you can feel the diff in throttle response. not sure what you have done to you car, but mine was with intake, cats, and exhaust

 

so.... if i prove you wrong you are paying for my 3rd event????

You would first have to DRIVE in two events before I would pay for your third one.

There's some incentive. Buy two events get one free!

haha, this year is out of the question, vaca and christmas.....next season I PROMISE it will make it out, and i am planning to get those ART pipes in the new year.... prob jan or first part of feb, that dang cat is rattling bad again... freakin POS kinetix

That's a poor defense really. You had a daily countdown for that thing that got us all excited. Plus, there have been several events between then and now.

 

i will give you half credit on that eric..... we all know sometimes stuff happens and it doesnt always work out the way we want it to

 

They just posted the NTAXS 2012 points winners.....Congrats to Armstrong also ! He drives the S2000.

And here is a video of without the split screen...I think it was the second best run of my times which was 58.381.


And the 2012 points awards just goes to show you guys that if you don't sign up and drive...then you won't have a chance to win !
I had no idea I could get this until like the last 2 events so I made sure I did them to try and get it....which I was lucky enough I did.

Chris, you sure the events were with NTAXS or BMW ?....I get them all confused as well. It wasn't until the end of the season when I was informed that I could win it that I paid attention to the NTAXS events vs. the others.

I know next year will be a hard race for it with you & Scott...so I will have to attend as many of them as possible. Like I stated above...you have to sign up and drive to get the points.

Maybe next season we can organize another VQ competition and collect some like $5 bucks an event and see who wins that ? it was fun when Gavin organized it a year or two ago.

What do you guys think ? Maybe we should put out a FB survey and see if we get peeps to do it for this next year.
