I am off from work until the 28th !
Then only 3 days of work and off for another 3 days.
I love this time of year. The weather is perfect for the Z nice cool & dry air.
I must be getting like 10 more HP from this weather.
Is anybody going to the Toy for Tot's car meet in Grapevine this weekend ?

Not to much, but it doesn't phase me. If I cared I would have spent the extra money on a name brand exhaust and better test pipes. I just want the performance and something louder.
Rasp = sexxx
Even though the tests are resonated and the exhaust has mufflers and huge resonators I am expecting quite a bit.

Rear knuckle bushing where shock/coilover attaches:
HF Ball joint tool: ~ $29.99 on sale Item 38335

26mm socket used to remove oem bushing:

Obviously this picture was taken after i took the bushing out to show that the socket fit well.
Mounted up:

I purchased HF long handle wrench set ITEM #47067 and used the 22mm wrench from the set. The beautiful thing about it was the angle the head had and the length for leverage in fighting the bushing out. Having the 22mm wrench made it EASY:

22mm long handle wrench from HF set used to turn da bish:

OEM BUSHING ON ITS WAY OUT ~ FALLING INTO RECEIVING STEEL CUP:

OUT:

However, notice how this side of the rear knuckle is machined FLAT!
Well, the opposite side is NOT flat and is angled at about a 5 degree angle.
~ Sorry, I didn't get a picture of this ~ but I then found a larger piece of steel and cut one side of it at a five degree angle with my chop saw to help line up the ball joint tool STRAIGHT!
Notice how this side is angled at 5 degrees, and how the black receiving cup isn't straight:

I replaced the black steel cup with another larger piece of steel, cut one side at a 5 degree angle and then when i rigged the entire ball joint tool back up everything lined up great and bushing pressed in easy on the first time!
Steel needed to install the whiteline bushing in:
To install this whiteline W62535 bushing you need to go to a local steel yard and get a Overal diameter 1.5" DOM STEEL round stock with a .083 wall.
That results in a 1.5" - .083" - .083" = 1.33" Inner diameter that fits over the W62535 rear shock mount bushing perfectly:

New Whiteline P/N W62535 bushing installed:

It's hard to say Pat...I like the Passport alot and I think it is very reliable. I hear that the newest one is even better ( 9500ix ). Not sure why or what the diff is between mine & the new one.....I guess you can read up on it.
All in all, I would go with the Valentine 1 just because it gives you the direction of the signal it detects and that has always been a huge advantage for me & ticket saver as well.
I just wsh it was a bit more modern looking and smaller.
@Jake, don't you get paid for your OT ?
Shiet....I wish I was paid for my OT.....I'd be freakin' rich by now !

@Mackie.... Very nice dude !

Are they running radar? It's not a cop detector, it's a radar detector. Mine certainly worked well driving across the country. I'd always listen for Ka, then play find the cop.
Uchiha_....if your not hearing them, then they are not shooting Radar. They could have Laser and then it would be too late.
All I know is that if there is a cop shooting Radar anywhere somewhere.....I pick it up on the Radar.... both the 9500i & Valentine 1 ! I can usually spot them out way before I would be in any danger.

I hope it doesn't have like radiation....even though you radiate people daily for your job.
Be looking forward to the pics.
