I was there Sunday too, but avoided the Old No. 7 Club this time.
Ya I was pretty pissed when I checked my bank account the next day lol especially knowing that I have Jack and crown reserve at the house. Also got a bottle of crown extra rare that I picked up for a steal about two months ago but I havnt found a good enough occasion to open that yet.
No Dremel here...... but I think your on to something. You good at the Dremel thing ? I could pay you a few bucks to hook me up on this ? I just dont want to screw this up. Cost my son a chunk of change and Id hate to mess it up and have to buy the whole set again just for one mistake.
I have a Dremel you can use...or I can help you out....but let me see what kind of placement you need.....really, it shouldn't be that hard.
PM me and we'll chat.

Ahhhh, never thought bout that but you right. Thanks for the heads up !
Hitch soon. Trailer soon, trying to find solutions for everything. Right now I am lacking $6K to get everything that I need to get. Trying to find a trailer I can borrow for the first couple of races etc.
I have a Dremel that would probably work well to cut the hole out for the CF.
I would definitely start small, check fitment, drill/Dremel again, check fitment, repeat ! Take your time. Also I have some resin that you can put over the cut area so it will be smooth & shiney again.
Here is what I already have.... The cguage, center console, door, and shift trim should be coming soon. The two large pieces at the bottom are extra, for steering w/o controls, if anyone is interested.
EDIT:
wait, do you need axles?? or "stub axles" cause if you need axles, then yes junk yard, if you need stub axles, then the junk yard wont part with them as they will want to sell the diff "complete"
i belive Z1 motorsports in Georgia has the stub axles for $140.....
why though? you get the wrong quiaffe or an os giken?? and need the stub?? if you got the giken, you can just have a machine shop turn down the clip groove...
