You guys probably don't know me - not sure if i've ever posted in dfw lounge. I have some sort of rod bearing issue in my built motor. I've been wondering what to do about it. Kinda been out of the Z/G circle for a couple years with the car sitting in the garage for various reasons. Jotech quoted me $3300 and I think they said it was a spun rod bearing. My motor knowledge is limited. Fire away...

If you have an issue with the rod bearing then they will have to disassemble the bottom end of the motor to fix it.
Cut the longer stub axle.....install quaife...done...
hand carry the stub axle to any local steel supply shop, machine shop, any shop with a metal band saw and have them cut away!......10 bucks cash kinda deal...
