I cannot possibly imagine it being even more than 0.1 amps

When we did the install I think it showed something like 0.05a or 0.1 tops. It isn't much at all. The Yaw sensor is just a small circuit board and g-meter and doesn't need much current. Any switch of 5a or more should be more than enough. I think mine are 1a or 5a switches. Can't remember now.

lol i wish i read about this b4, i wired up a switch with a spdt relay so that an indicator light would glow amber to remind me the brake fuse is pulled off. now all that for nothing lol.

Well, if anything the connection through the relay will probably be cleaner than the one through the switch, so it's a win-win either way.

id much rather just run a series switch in a power wire to the module than run the cluster fack of wires and switches lol

Default standing burn out

ther is no need to have the brake lights disabled to do a burnout. all you need to do is find your ecm and cut the wire going to pin #101 its an blue with orange striped wire. you can put a switch there to turn it on or off.

That will lead to a CEL and it will disable the cruise control. I know, I've done it. If you put a switch on it, and only turn the switch on when you want to do a burn out you shouldn't get a CEL, but if you simply cut the wire you will.

what solved it?
i tried the idea of putting a switch on the orange wire leading to the module under the coin pocket and that didnt do anything.

Hmm.... works for me and others. When you flip the switch, do you get the two warning lights on the speedo?

Maybe there is something wrong with your switch or wiring?

There are people who would like a permanent solution that doesn't add any lights to the dash.

To my knowledge, eliminating the yaw sensor will not allow you to throttle and brake at the same time anyway, it will just disable the VDC/TCS/ABS.

Default Throttle

The electronic throttle won't permit concurrent application of throttle and brake, so should you want to heat the hides a little before your run up the on-ramp, we've been told that if one was to stupidly, illegally, and never advisably disconnect the brake-light switch from the back of the brake pedal, you can play John Force until the fire department arrives.
