Default RC 650cc and Fuel pressure?

We tuned my car a cuple of weeks ago.

Built Engine,
Greddy twins with Utec.
RC 650CC Injectors.
AAM fuel return walbro pump and 99oct gas.
More info if needed, just ask.

My problem (my opinion) i that the injectors at 45psi pressure max out or atleast 85% duty allready at 440whp, we bumped fuel pressure to 50psi and finaly landed a 501whp @ 0.98bar boost.

I mailed sharif and asked him about the injectors that they maxed out that early, on Forgedperformance homepage it says they will be enuff for 600-650whp with right setup ofc!

Im sure that he knows what he´s doing and stuff but.

He told me in another mail that he tuned a car with 550cc injectors with 60psi fuel pressure, RC is probably a quality brand but is that safe?

So to you gurus of boosting shall i just raise the pressure and keep on boosting?

Please help.

Best Regards
Phill

Was that 45psi at full boost or idle? Your fuel return should raise the pressure more than enough with that kind of boost.

Call RC engineering if you don't want to take Sharif's word for it. They can tell you what they feel is safe for their injectors...

His numbers are too low IMO. There must be something wrong, it may not be the injectors but something.

What exhaust do you have? I have seen problems from the stock cats or a restrictive exhaust.

Wow 60psi idle is very high. With that exhaust and test pipes you should not have a problem making more power. Something is off...
