Default oem ecu troubles..need help!

alright guys heres the lowdown, swapped a built 06 motor/ecu/wiring harness into the car (which is an 03), trailored it to nissan of glendale heights to reprogram my 03 keys to my new 06 ecu, before i was supposed to drop it off at sound performance for my tune. anyways, the techs were having troubles with the ecu not reading the keys, and it shot up these 2 codes on there consult;

p1611 ID discord

p1610 lock mode

they said the ecu wasnt reading and couldnt unlock it. mind that no aftermarket ems was attached at all during this time, key simply wasnt reading. is there any way to gt past this? please guys i need help so i can get this tune done, havent driven it in a year and a half lol!!

just pulled this from yahoo;

Some computerized lock-smiths can do it. I work for Nissan and hook up a Consult 2 Device and get a pin read or the 5 digit number from the BCM and enter that number into the Asist Computer to generate a code. Then Gather up all the owners keys and start introducing the keys to the car up to five can be programed. If a non regristered key is used four times the car will lock out all the keys. Imobilizer Keys (chip keys) should be programed at the Nissan Dealership or advanced lock-smith. No "do it yourself" DIY available

so my question is how can i unlock the ecu now? i did put my key in multiple times to unlock the steering so i could move it aruond easily, mustve been the reason it locked. anyway to undo this guys?

it was initially at the dealer, and they couldnt unlock it, they were using the consult, and he gave me those 2 codes listed in post #1. either he was very very inexperienced, or what, they couldnt get it. i need some info please, this is the only thing prohibiting me from driving the car!

I think sound performance are cipher tuner, i'm sure they can do something with that. I honestly wouldn't take it to dealer, even it cost little more for tailer to performance shop that knows VQ. Well.. good luck.

The tech that worked on your car was a retard. You might have to buy a new key if you do its about 150$. A performance shop is not going to have consult 2 software.

It must be in the FSM for the 2006. I would recommend starting there. Then just take the procedure to the tech and tell them to follow it.

I'd give GRD a call. See if they can get us the info on it with Cipher. We may be able to fix it through them.
