Default Any Feedback on Haltech ECU for 350z???

Hey guys,im soon going to buy a stand alone system for my 350z, i have a greddy TT kit already on the car..i still have the greddy piggy back system..so i want to know..has any one heard anything bad about the haltech platinum system for the 350z? the performance shop i go to keeps insisting i get the hks f con vpro..but the haltech will save me atleast 400.00 if i go that route..so please tell me your feedback on any info you have on this system..the performance shop claim that haltech has glitches on their ECU system.true?false?

nope, never heard of it. New news to me. ??? anyone else here of this?? I thought most were using gameboy advanced for standalones.

But in seriousness yes, ive heard of it and was planning on one myself if ever i do the NA build. I am not as knowledgeable about it and could not give you specs or vs. arguments. However with the limited research i do know, it is most definitely worth checking out and researching compared to the fcon. also dependent on your situation/car setup or plans. search the thread, or wait till the flame dies down in hear for answers, my guess would be around page 2-3 for answers in a few days.

The Haltech is a great system for the price. I don't know that it has any significant advantages over the FCON other than that ANY tuner can tune it, not just HKS Pro licensed tuners. There is a large thread in the products announcements section. Also check out this site for documentation:

www.injectedperformance.com/haltech

User forums:

forums.haltech.com

And Hal@IP is the key US technical support person on this site. His support for this unit is IMO the best reason to go with the Haltech over other options.

You just can't go wrong if you purchase the Haltech.

Drives just like OEM, and the support from Injected Performance is great.

+1 ON THE ABOVE. I don't have my Haltech On my VQ35 yet. Although, I spent months researching ECUs for my build and everytime I found a good standalone the Haltech would be right there with the same features and more. You can not beat the price for what you get.

out of all the standalones i have used/tuned. Haltech cant be any easier. also with the Haltech you can tune cams intake and exhaust(rev-up). you cant go wrong, obviously your shop is a HKS pro dealer. so they get a better profit margin if you purchase the HKS from them.
