Thumbs up finally got my Osiris tune. here are the results!

So i drove down to Forged performance in Atlanta all the way from Charleston, SC. and it was WELL worth the drive; shop was clean, nice, well run, and FULL of so many sick cars to look at to kill time.

Sharif tuned my tuned my 2003 Z with Osiris, and i am very happy with the results.. the 5 hour drive home was a blast. although i gained a few HP/TQ on the dyno.. what suprised me the most was how it drove on the road!

pros:
-gained roughly 8tq and 15 whp
-redline bumped from 6600 to 7100
-pulled all of my mods together, creating a whole new car practically. The rpms pull so much smoother on the ROAD and keep going all the way to the new redline
-dont have to worry about hitting the redline when coming out of first gear major plus +
-sharif explained everything to me and did a great job tuning

cons:
-only con was that i was 5 hrs away lol

here is my printed out dyno sheet (will post clearer one when i get it in my email)

MOD LIST
-HKS true dual
-HFC's
-Headers
-Powelab 3/8 spacer
-Pop charger
-UR pully kit
-Grounding kit
-performance clutch/flywheel

-Tein flex w/ EDFC
-Stillen sways
-JIC majic strut bar
-VOLK sf challenges 19x9.5 & 10.5

yea it is ALOT smoother both in idle and when hitting the gas. it feels like it just came out of the factory! but with a few extra hp...

keep in mind that Forged Performance's dyno reads VERY low. and that a stock Z read about 215-220 on their dyno.

how low is low?

I dyno'd with:

test pipes
turboxs catback
mishimoto intake
5/16 motordyne

and put out 251....now with the mods I have I am looking for around 280...and you have comparable mods (aside from LTH's)...so our numbers should be fairly similar...but I doubt my car will put out 260's after the mods...

just wanted to point it out - maybe you should try to dyno it at another dyno and see what the numbers are...

i dont know how low low is.. forged just told me that they have a "heartbreaker dyno." Yea.. you should put out similar gains. i was hoping for 280 as well, but the numbers didnt mean a thing to me once i drove it for the first time. i could definitely feel the extra power!

..yea if i ever come across a dyno day or anything where i can get a steal on a dyno pull on a dyno that reads normally, i will definitely do it! But the main reason i picked forged is cause they looked very reputable. and they are.. i wasnt focused on getting a dyno that reads high, i just wanted a good tune.

Was it a mustang dyno? Because they are the best. Dynojets will read a bit higher. I want to do a similar tune on my car with the rev set at 7000, but nobody has osiris around here. Did they say if 7100 was risky or is that still plenty safe? I know you're not a tuner just wondering if they said it was still safe.

it was a Dyno Dynamics dyno.. i dont think there are too many of them. Yea its still safe.. there is no reason to pull that far into the redline though since the power starts to drop at 6600 in both hp and tq, but it is nice not having to worry about hitting the redline and it is pretty sick in 3 & 4th gear watching it slowly pull all the way to 7100.

I have talked to Uprev and they do not recommend raising the redline on a non-revup DE due to the weak crank bearing. So I just keep my stock redline limit instead of raising it up. However, you can always call UpRev to find out.
