I anwered most of these on the previous page. Go back and look for pics.

Powdercoated all brackets and exterior parts of the motor. Powdercoated all brackets in the rest of the engine bay including the strut bar. Painted engine bay, cowl covers and engine cover. Few parts include, Pi-Thon hose clamps, ZEETOYZ caps, grounding kit, polished bolts, stillen dual intake, painted air diffuser for radiator, etc. Should be pretty hot.

sounds nice. I miss going to HIN and stuff. Stopped going after last years HIN when I went with my cousin's Do-Luck shop cars. He closed up shop so I guess thats the last of modding for me. I think he sold his skylines and stuff and closed up . I'll be waiting for pics ^^

I am expecting to bring you the car at the end of next week.

Fuel system parts already shipped...should have them tomorrow. Sam is still waiting on his shipment of cams, but they are definately on the way to him at this point. I will overnight them here if needed. I can't really do much without the camshafts. But dont you worry little buddy... ....we can reassemble your engine in 30min if we put the whole team on it.

Good luck on the install, please let us all know whats up next for ENVY.

Now as i mentioned before i am very new to the Z and FI. But i am assuming the fuel upgrade and the cams are all being built up for the Turbos right? I tried to look up your cams but there web site is under construction, also can you enlighten me on the fuel set up and why this upgrade is needed.

Cheers

Kevin

The cams will be GTM Spec NA camshafts with a near stock idle. We sent the OEM fuel system out for mock up and measurement purposes. The actual fuel system upgrade is a couple months out, once FI becomes availible for the HR, so for now...the stock fuel system is going back in.

Well hell, if you have done that much to an 07 then you deserve the name.
Well what about the Green Lantern J/K

Can't wait to see her put back together.

Man I just read all 15 pages and all I can say is $400 well well worth it.

What I mean is I put a non refundable deposit of $400 on a slightly used 06. When i heard about the 07 and have slightly better motor I went to the dealer I bought a 07 and lost $400. After reading this I feel good, I love my 07.

Great Great Thread

Sharif,

We are getting pretty caught up on stuff around here, so it might be pretty quick that we can get you guys the prototype HR rails. They are actually mostly done in the CAD, we just need to order the material stock since its a larger bar then the DE rails use... then we can load it up and cut the first set for you guys. If you could actually do Charles and I a favor, and take a couple top down shots of the stock rails installed on the engine without the upper plenum on, that way we can see if there is as much clearance as we think. For now, we are hoping that the same hoses will all work, but since we didn't have the entire engine here we are not sure yet. Let us know if the fuel pump assembly is going to need a different return correction kit... I suppose we can cross reference part numbers at the dealer actually and figure that out for ourselves pretty easily.

Hi Brandon, thanks for the post. We dissassembled the 07 HR Fuel Pump assembly, and I can confirm that they are identical. The PN's might be different from the dealership, but the guts are the same, so the current siphon correction kit will work.

Once we get to the point of re-installing the fuel rail, I will be sure to take some more shots for you.

That's great news, in a sense that a kit should be available for the 07's shortly. Please keep us posted. I assume you are getting a free out of this deal?
