It looks like from the stillen site it uses the factory tube from the filter to the TB, do you think a larger tube would be better??
Are you going to go with a larger tube or just reuse factory??

Cheers

Kevin

P.S. can't wait to see what ya did.

He might have other reasons, but as for mine...

I just ordered my stillen kit yesterday after long debate on if I was even interested in anything else. I'm more worried about cold air vs. warm engine air. It just looked like stillen's kit could really block out all the hot air and take in as much cold air as possible. It's also rather cheap if you think about it. I'd love to see ARC's kit if their making one, and I'm sure it will pull in a lot of cold air, but I also think the price for it won't be worth it.

I did originally want to get a kit that had different tubes, but I don't exactly know how well it will keep the air cool depending on what type of tube it is (what material was used to make it).

I just saw pics of the Fujita short ram air kit, I almost thought I made a bad choice. I like how the fujita kit looks, but looks aren't everything. I'm happy with my choice, I think the stillen kit will pull cold air the most out of the kits being talked about and in the works. Of course it's speculation because I don't exactly know what else is going to come out.

Reuse factory. Stillen is a sponsor on my car.

BTW: Got my motor parts back from Mike at http://www.thepowdercoater.com

I will try and get some pics this weekend. Dropping them off at Forged on Monday so they can begin putting the motor back together.

are you going to be rocking the new stillen twin air intake system? seeing how they are a sponser I'm sure they would love to get some publicity with it in your engine bay. Also curious how are you going to fix up the engine bay?
