Ok so who here thinks aps is going to design a TT setup for this new motor and do you think Greddy will follow up with a one as well?

Is 12.0:1 compression good? How much hp or better performance does that compression give is DE owners? Does the HR have different cams like the revup had S1 cams? If so will the HR cams give us DE owners better performance

I imagine that both of them will have kits available shortly. If all that's required is new intercooler/intake piping, that would be super easy.

If history repeates itself, Greddy will have a kit out first, followed by everyone else.

Vortech will probable have a kit out soon too!!

So is the HR heads different? I wanna know if I should go HR or aftermarket. Also will there be a HR S1. When the 3.7hr comes out are us 3.5 owner(including hr) be able to use 3.7 parts make more power just like how VG30 owner have been using VG33 parts and vice versa.

Very good observation. Of course we are just speculating, but I would be shocked if Nissan cast different heads and block for the 3.7L. So some GT-R/VQ35HR/VQ37 will have some mix-match capability...hopefully.

I really like the upcoming gtr but would like to see the price tag first and the 2009 z looks to be promising as well... Honestly though I was a bit disapointed with my z after it was all said and done due to a lack of traction. There's no sense in having alot of power if you cannot put it to the ground... With my z only at 14psi I could get traction in 4th...

Sure the compression is higher since the cranking pressure went up, but the methodology he used to come to that conclusion was crude. The relationship between volume and pressure isn't linear because the higher the pressure, the higher the temps which causes pressure to rise even more. I don't think one can definitively know exactly what the compression ratio is without taking physical measurements. But it would be a cheap upgrade for someone looking for higher compression.
