duh the fuel rails are right in front of me. The Plastic upper/lower plenum will help alot for heat soak, I guess it's time for another project..... If only nissan would have made this design the first time around..

I'm assuming the gear ratios are the same in the 07 transmission. So its main improvement is the deleted clutch fork etc etc? What does doing it that way actually do that's better? Easier shifts? more efficient? stronger?

Can the 07 transmission bolt up to the older cars?

Can the bigger coil packs be put on the older cars and would there be any benefit?

Fuel rails are fed from the front...another major change. The passenger side rail is direct feed, and the driver's rail is fed via a cross overtube...also in the front.

We dont have the physical car at on our shop, for the timebeing...it is under the knife...getting some serious body upgrades. It will be some time, before we determine if the diffs are interchangeable.

What bolt on NA mods are going to be usefull on this thing? It seems like most of them are already good right out of the gate. Headers, intake, and the plenium dont look llike they will provide any gain, or anything thats worth the money at least. So what are we left with? Exhaust with HFCs and a tune?

Is that really such a bad thing? Nissan is saving you alot of money by doing all of that crap for you, under warranty .

I am praying the rest of the parts are all boost ready as well. See if this thing can take boost better than the DEs. Maybe Nissan is putting this out in the Z to find flaws in the engine before they bore it out, TT it and throw it in the skyline?

Well, in terms of pure power adders, CBE and test pipes/high flow cats are the only compelling things I see for the near future. The OEM headers still leave a LOT to be desired, and there is still some power to be had with good aftermarket headers. Maybe camshafts too?

At least all suspension and brake mods will work.

I took my 07 to japtrix today and we compared the diferentials to an 03 (westpak's) and from outside, the pumpkion is the same... i work at nissan and i know that the parts number are diferent, but it is possible to do a whole pumpkin swap. At least from outside that is what looks like...

if anyone is interested in a swap, pm me
