Test Pipes used with X02
I plan on picking up Test Pipes and Exhaust soon and I'm curious if people are getting alot of rasp using the X02 with test pipes. I know I want the X02 but just not sure which test pipes to buy yet.
you will always get a rasp when putting test pipes, the reason being is you are removing 2 cats and replacing them with nothing. i would recomend to you that you put some high flow cats (HFC) insted. I just purchased a set of Berks HFC, even though i havent put them on the car yet they look like a very well designed HFC. The reason im telling you this is from past experiance then you remove your cats you will always get a rasp unless you put a s*** load of resinators. lol

Were you using resonated test pipes? BTW Al Gore only thanks people who give him cheeseburgers
first one is right after installing it at school with resonated test pipes... second is with stock cats after 4 months... hope this helps even though its not an HR motor

Doesn't sound bad at all.
Is that an autotech class in a high school? If so, you must be really comfortable with having a bunch of high school kids around your Z. I was in an autotech class in HS, and thank God I didn't purchase the Z till after I graduated. The kids at my school were trailor trash punks! Very immature. One time, one of my friends brought in his RX7 and he wasn't in the class but wanted the autotech class to change his spark plugs b/c we did that kind of stuff for free. We changed the spark plugs alright, but some ***** keyed the shiit out his car!!
From the front headlight all the way to the taillights! I warned my friend before to not let our class touch it, but he was too cheap to get it done somewhere else professionally.
