My local dealer says they are on backorder too. Called yesterday and still no part......

 

My two dealers are letting me know tomorrow about the part

 

My part came in in about 2 weeks after they put in the order last month. It just took me 3 weeks to find time to get it installed. it is awesome btw

 

Well, my update......called for appointment for recall 3 weeks ago.....told to bring it in last Wednesday.....they called last Wednesday and advised didnt have the parts, would be able to do job last Friday....they called last Friday and advised part not in (they still had the car BTW).....advised last Friday that the parts would be in this week......well, the F-ing parts STILL arent in.

 

thats crazy they had you drop the car off knowing they did not have the part.
That makes no sense.

 

Sucks to see all you guys dealing with the parts not being in! I guess I got lucky. Called on a wednesday, made my appointment for the following tuesday. Brought my car in and it was done and out of there within about 4 hours my first visit.

 

I just got the recall done today and I feel no difference versus original, but we shall see under heavy duty use.

 

Now with about 200 miles on the new slave, the pedal feel is exactly the same as before. I guess those initial super smooth shifts were from the new part breaking in.

 

I called the dealer over a month ago and they didn't have the part but they ordered it. Called them a week ago to get an ETA and they said they would call me right back. NOTHING!! So I just called another dealer in the area and they have to part in stock and the recall is going to be done on Monday. Very strange that some of these guys have the parts ready to go and others don't and really don't even seem to care to get you the part.

 

FOUR weeks now, no call

Thing that pisses me off most is I was hoping to get it in before Spring.......

 

I am still waiting for my part. Apparently, they have it on backorder still.. Again, I told them about this in January when this thread first started Bought in the document mid january, and the part was never ordered until a month later on Feb 13. And it's March 21, and still no part. All they know is it is backordered....

I'm not sure whats the deal on these parts. My local dealership in San Diego was able to order the parts and they came within 3 days. This was approximately 2 weeks ago. Perhaps you guys waiting on your dealership should try another dealership??

 

There is only one dealership in my area. But I guess I can check the denver dealerships.

 

I do have like 2 others nearby, but I already know the response Ill get....."why didnt you go to the dealer you bought the car from.....if they cant get it we cant either"....Ive gotten the same crap from other car dealers regarding other car brands, and from my experiences it seems that the other dealers have a "see what happens when you dont by from us" attitude.....

 

im having the complete opposite problem. ive had 3 parts come in for me already, but still not on my car lol.

 

Go to performance. I called performance tuesday, made an appointment, fixed it the next day. Took 3 hours and 30 mins and I was in and out with a car wash.

 

Wow, that's pretty quick. I have an order at westco and they yet to get back to me. I would have to leave the car there the whole day too.

 

I've said this many times, but I've stopped going to westco. Their service department has gone to ****. I've been unhappy the past two times i've been there. I just go to performance now. Westco told me I couldn't make an appointment because my car physically needs to be there for them to make the appointment because they need to check my car. (um ok) And they needed a the car overnight.. so nevermind.
