Default 2.5" AAM Test Pipes Finally in!!!

does anyone wrap their tp's in heat wrap? just wondering if it would do anything... and another thing, should i wait to put them on untill i get my slave cylinder replaced? (p.s. my letter JUST came in the mail today...) the reason i ask is, if they see i have test pipes will they void the warranty and not replace the slave cylinder?

I had my test pipes on as well as the intakes and exhaust and they fixed mine for me before this letter thing was even started.

How's the test pipes working out for you? Updates/sound clips?

Heat wrap will not help with rasp. Your test pipes are non-resonated, you should be prepared for a little rasp. Just take your car to the dealer for the recall, you do not need the letter. Afterwards, slap on the test pipes and put up some soundclips.

i agree, get the slave cylinder fixed first then put on the test pipes. Chances are they will not say anything, but why take a chance, especially that you don’t even have them on the car yet

i have an appointment friday, they said that they need it over night though.... which is VERY unfortunate... so i will be without a car from friday around 1 oclock till "late in the day saturday" is what i was told... i thought people were gettin their slave cylinders replaced in like 3 hours? anyways, once that is done i will be putting the test pipes on and alot of clips...

^^
I had to wait one day for my car to get the slave cylinder replaced. The stealership didn't even give me a rental car either.

They can't void your warranty unless the test pipes are the DIRECT cause of any issue that might come up.
