Can any tuner shop tune an Emanage on an HR? I might pick one up and go to GTM if this is possible. I was going to get a technosquare but this looks like a better bang for the buck.

Either way thats a lot of timing for a stock motor.
it's completely different car to car, day to day - so many variables involved. The ideal timing for any given engine in the most general of terms is the highest figure which doesn't cause any knock events at any load point, and past which point, no additional power is made.

Had an awesome time yesterday'maine, thanks again (got back about an hour ago)

just purchased greddy emanage blue, should receive it by end of week, hopefully julian can make some time for me in the next few weeks. Hopefully I will get similar results! If all works out maybe I can even talk him into not talking me out of installing my nitrous kit

So do you think this mod is more worth it than a technosquare reflash for our cars? Figure 500 for reflash, 700 for tune.. versus 100-200 for emanage, and another 150-200 for tune? What are rates to tune a HR with emanage? I take it emanage cannot tune throttle bodies like technosquare or raise the rev limit?

I am not sure what they are doing with the technosquare reflash. If they are mapping the CVTC and seeing gains on top of being able to manipulate the timing and fuel map then it is worth it. I haven't been following the post in a while honest with you. Last I looked Tadashi hadn't yet posted any information on what he is capable of doing. Short of tune the fuel table and rev limit control.

I personally will be looking into having the base flash done on my car, but for the Rev limit control and maybe I'll get a chance to technobabble with Tadashi to get some info on what the CVTC Table looks like for when I put the C8R camshafts in my car.

Thanks for the info.

Ya technosquare is 500 for a reflash, an extra 200 for a tune.. comes out to 700 tuned. Not bad, but if emanage is making similar power for 200-300 tuned.. I don't know which one to get. I think the thing to do with the HR is to tune the a/f ratio and lean it out.. that gains the most power I suppose.. Technosquare supposedly also opens up the throttle bodies under WOT faster or something for better response, and keeps them open instead of closing them when 7k rpm hits.. I'll wait this out and see which one I should get. I was set on technosquare, but this is really undercutting that reflash.

I'll have to log the DBW.. I am pretty sure it doesn't close the plate until the soft rev limiter is engaged.

The stock doesn't close the plate or your emanage blue keeps it open? I was under the assumption that the stock ones start closing at 7000rpm and gradually close more till redline (7.5k). Either way let us know. Thanks for contributing..

hell they just barely made a utec for the DE, no upgrades for over a year. you really think they will release one for the the HR?
