Is this a precautionary maintenance suggested in the owner's manual? Or is this one of your personal recommendation?

I car currently have no ill symptom whatsoever... so I feel it is not necessary atm.

The tensioner does and the internal water pump that is ran by the chain

You will have to purchase the upgraded master as well as the slave, there are some hose/connector differences, talk to Zspeed regarding that.

Nissan uses chains, they do not need to be adjusted or changed out.Water pump can be swapped out,but if it isnt broke or going out...

One of the main reasons I have stayed Nissan the last 15 years, pretty reliable cars and no timing belts...
