Exedy Upgraded Concentric Slave Cylinder!?
So I am researching a new clutch and I find out Exedy apparently sells an upgraded slave!? I found a part number (BRG0163) but it doesnt work on their website which is weird but I am waiting to hear back on whether or not its legit. Anyone experimented with this or purchased this part #?
I saw the same thing months ago when I was into researching this. I couldn't find it on their site also. Interested to hear what Exedy says about this. I'm kinda thinking they didn't upgrade the CSC, but who knows.

The 306A1+A and 306A2+B are used in the 370Z as well and haven't heard complaints from that group yet. Although, I know this whole issue is in regards to aftermarket clutch systems.
got confirmation today that it is the same as the OEM part and it is discontinued now for some reason. I guess I will have to stick with the post recal slave and an exedy clutch. Anyone have good experiences with their stage 1 organic clutch kit?

He's running the stage 2 Exedy. Everything but the friction plate is identical to the stage1. Unlike any other manufacturer Exedy seemed to design the pressure fingers correctly, from the pictures anyways (for what it's worth).
I think running the stage 1 with the newer slave should be a safe bet.
I have recently installed the Spec stage 3+clutch with the steel flywheel. I have about 600 miles on it and it is a big improvement over the stock setup and dual mass flywheel. I also replaced the slave cylinder during the install.
The pedal is somewhat firmer now but not bad, and there is no longer any slipage.
Pay attention to the flywheel (the Spec flywheel anyway) came with two dowel pin locations for orienting the flywheel to the crankshaft so that the crank sensor is properly indexed to the star wheel which is integral with the flywheel.
