Default Vibrations?

Ok so I got my clutch into my car this weekend and when I took it out for a drive I noticed a vibration in the shifting handle when I am stopped and the clutch pedal is pushed in.

Any ideas what this could be?

All the searching I did lead me to alignment issues, but everything slid right in. Or warped or loose flywheel. Everything checked out ok when I had it off for resurfacing.

what clutch and flywheel.. how did you tighten down the bolts on the flywheel (criss cross, or clockwise etc), did you torque them, did you align it on the nub properly......

It's the oem flywheel, oem style clutch from an aftermarket company I can't recall, I tightened them in the cris cross pattern, and no they were not torqued.

Any reason to why you wouldn't torque them to spec?

Didn't have a torque wrench that had a 3/8 drive, And I didn't have time left to go get one. I do know the torque specs for it. I am already setting up to take it all apart slowly and inspect it all and torque EVERYTHING down this time. I'm gonna check the alignments of everything, check for warping. Damage on splines TOB or anything else.

i would replace the flywheel too, and if you didnt torque them down, it may not be seated all the way

So an update here, I talked to a tech up at the dealership about my flywheel. I noticed my flywheel had some play/movement between the two plates, and I asked my tech if that was supposed to be there. Apparently it's not, (the movement on the flywheel can be done by hand, which was even worse) he also said I would not have noticed it on the bad clutch due to the lack of expected performance from the clutch.

So lookin at a couple flywheels here for replacement, the jwt flywheel or the competition clutch lightweight flywheel. I am leaning more towards the jwt cause it seems to have more praise here on the forums.

And finally when it goes back together a proper torque on all the bolts.

Any thoughts or opinions about this? Does all that info from the tech sound right? I didn't personally feel like he was tryin to sell me bull cause I told him first thing I wasn't buying the 1000 dollar oem flywheel, but I figured I would touch base here.
