So I did my diff swap finally. Yeah totally awesome change in the driving dynamics. I love the way I blast out of corners now. Also I can see what a real lsd would provide and I am thinking of converting my base diff with one of the aftermarket lsds. We'll see.

Anyways.. Curious. Diff is working as designed but I get a hum type noise between 48-50mph. I also get a high pitched whine above 70 mph when I am off the accelerator however it seems to be from the right side of the car not the center rear? It is not loud and with window down or radio on I can't hear it.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I changed it out. But I didn't like flush it or anything so I guess there could still be some metal in there.
