I agree 100%.

I wonder if the reason that so many people bend rims isn't that they put on a stretched tire or a cheap tire.

I went with a little wider tire and a little higher sidewall, not regretting it.

As a previous owner of TSW Revos AND TSW Concepts. i was quite happy with their performance. They held up strongly on huge pot holes and never bent or cracked. the Revos & Concepts were made in Italy but i dont know about their current line up. I put RA-1s on the Concepts and it was great.

The Revos cleared my brembo gran turismo kit i had on the maxima, but they were quite heavy... 17x8 were like 26 pounds or something like that. The Concepts were 20 pounds w/o the center piece for a 17x7.5... the cost benefit to performance was very good, hence i went with them the first time around. i believe both rims were CAST aluminum...

if think for the Z, the volcano would sick with the 20 offset

inexpensive does not mean cheap...there is a difference. Expensive also does not mean quality (in every case). TSW makes some fairly inexpensive wheels. However, there are some benefits a brand like this carries. First is availability in the event one is damaged. While I have never seen a bent TSW from the result of normal driving, wheels can be damaged in accidents, etc. TSW maintains HUGE inventory levels and as such, a replacement is never a hard thing to come by. Conversely, as hardocre JDM as I am, sometimes the wheels become prohibitively difficult to attain.

In the end, it is the buyers choice. As far as affordable wheels go, TSW is not a bad choice by any stretch of the imagination

ABSOLUTELY, it doesn't matter how great your rims are if your tires suck. To be honest, i'd rather go with HP Racing's on Bridgestone S0-3's than Volks on Wanli tires. hehehe. Save up on for the rim/tire combo... it's one of the most important mods you can make to your car, both aesthetically, and for safety.
