Another TPS question..HELP!!
I just recently swapped tires/wheels from my 2007 Base coupe with a late 2006 Touring convertible.
I got his Volk wheels with working TPS and he got my OEM wheels/tires with working TPS.
Lo and behold I now have the TPS warning light on and his 2006 Touring does not display the pressure readings.
Can we get away with this by just re-setting/re-programming at the dealer?
Or are we "doomed" to also swapping sensors?
Any help, tips, advise, suggestions will be greatly and desperately appreciated..8)

Ok guys & gals ...question answered!!
Took the Z to Maroone Nissan of Pembroke Pines, Florida;
1) Not a question or hassle about my Volk wheels/Toyo tires.
Reset TPMS and working fine..NO LIGHT!! AND NO CHARGE!!!
2) Concerned about condensation on one of headlights.
They ordered and brand new headlight unit and will replace NO CHARGE!
3) First service done $33.00 including tax!
Car came out the same way I brought it to them..
CLEAN, NO SCRATCHES, NO DENTS, NO MARKS, PERFECT!
Nothing but praise for these guys! Thanks!!
So, the 2006 TPMS will work on the 2007s but you will need to have it reprogrammed.
Thanks all for your time and advice, much appreciated!!

Definitively, I agree.
My main concern was if there had been any programmed data changes on the sensors per se, as the '07 does not show the actual air pressures as the '06 do.
The way it worked out indicates the difference is in the processing and interpretation of data by the '06/'07 onboard computers.
Laterzzz...

So can you all confirm that any prior TPMS sensor from a 350z will work on an 07?
Just got my new wheels and need to hook up TPMS sensors via the banding method.
I am keeping my GT Wheels (for now anyway) so I won't cannibalize them for the sensors. Can I just pick up four used TPMS sensors and get them programmed once they are installed? And I don't need to worry about what year car they are from?
Thanks...

Yes, sensors can be swapped between 03-06 and 07. Both ways from what has been reported here. The difference in the 07s is the (lack of) computer display of the pressure. The rest of the system functions the same.

I can’t help but wonder why Nissan took away the digital display of individual tire pressures in the ‘07 model. I like this feature in my 2003 Performance model. In fact the digital readout always matches a physical/analog reading on my car.
Reasons for removing a feature?
1) Cheaper to just display a warning light
2) Legal liability if the digital reading does exactly match the real pressure
3) Customers noticing and reporting differences between mechanical pressure measuring devices and the digital TPMS display
4) A combination of any of the above
