Default Should i go for a more aggressive wheel?

I ordered a set of work vs-xx in gold....19x9.5 +23 and 19x11 +29 just recently. Lately on the forums I been seeing all of these threads with reallly aggressive offsets and its making me want to go more aggressive!!! (dam u guys). But I was wondering how much more of an aggressive offset could I go with a tanabe gf210 drop and rolled fenders. I don't want to mess with camber arms or none of that but I really dig huge lips. Can u guys give me some feedback on what will be a good set up? My vendor says it takes about 2 months for the wheels to come in so hopefully I can change my order if I get some good feedback.

I don't see a 9.5+23 or 11+29 setup on the vx-xx application sheet. There are some questions you have to answer before we can recommend a good setup. Do you need to clear a BBK? How much negative camber are you willing to runn front and rear? How much of a roll/pull are you willing to do? What sized tires are you wanting to run, and are you willing to stretch tires to fit big wheels?

If you go with 19x11+24 you can get a 5" lip for sure. I know Rick sells VS-XX with the 19x11" setup and you can fit a coke can in there so definitely is 5" and +24 on an 11" rear is plenty aggressive if you got your fenders rolled already. My drop is similar to yours and you can see the +17 fits no problem! I rubs only in REALLY REALLY deep dips in freeway speed. So it's definitely not a daily issue and when it did rub it didn't cut the fender or damage anything.

I dont think you could get more prefectly flush than that , to the OP , what you ordered will be just fine, you can adjust a few mm with spacers if you need, but you probably wont have to.

Thanks terrasmak, I think it's definitely the most aggressive I could get at this time without getting out of OE camber specs. After talking to redlude we are both convinced that a 19x10 and a 19x11.5 Meister S1 would work, it would be 19x11.5+23 O disk in the back as oppose to mine 19+11+17. We would keep the same lip and outer piece but extends the inner half by .5"! That would be soooo sick!

Thanks for the compliment bro but I definitely have to thank Hai (redlude97) for pushing me to get the lower offsets and it was worth the wait! I definitely think the 19x9.5 +23 is perfectly fine. That's what I have right now and I love it. I prefer the front not to have massive lipage because I like how it's moderate and makes the back look even nicer. If you have a huge front lip it makes the back lip not look so big.

As for the order I am not too sure, last time when I got the order placed by Rick he sent it directly there and the work started pretty much immediately. After that 2 months from the day the order was made I got my wheels from Rick so technically it only took them 7 weeks to make it and 1 week to get tires mounted and shipped to my door steps. You should call the shop immediately and ask if you can change the specification on the wheels.

I think you are looking for 19x11+23 with an o-disk. For the front I would go 19x9.5+19 with an A-disk also so its more flush. I don't even know where the 9.5+23 is on the offset sheet they are referring to. Ask them what center disk that is for.

they told me its on the O disk...ill prob try the offset ur talkin about..from wat i hear from alvin u kno ur stuff! and ill mention the A disk to them for the fronts.

can u give me a calculation of the lip size ill b lookin at?
19x9.5 +19 A disk
19x11 +23 O disk

for the offset i posted earlier...he said i should have a 3.3" lip in front and 4.3" in rear

hey guys...jus got off the phone with ravspec...turns out these were the specs i was gettin

19x9.5 +25
19x11 +23

but he then told me i was only gonna get a 3.8" lip not a 4.3" lip cuz he read the application wrong...so i asked him to change the order to 19x11 +17 in rear and then i can get the 4.3" lip but hes gotta call work and see if they have started workin on the order yet. *cross fingers*

I think he had the offsets backwards. If you were to run an Odisk front and rear, then there is a 19x9.5+29 with a 87mm(3.3-3.4") lip, and 19x11+23(4.3-4.4") lip. The fronts are really conservative though, and I would run an A-disk instead with the same sized lip, which is the 19x9.5+19A disk which I recommend previously. That has the same 87mm lip, but allows for more brake clearance as well as making the wheel flusher. Unfortunetly you can't go to a wider lip unless you want to get significantly more aggressive(19x11+10). But at least with this new setup it will be flush with the wheel wells.

Dude, I don't know what spec sheet he is looking at, but I don't see a 19x9.5+25 on there.

Glad it worked out for you. Post pics when you get em! I suggest 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 tire sizes for those width wheels also. Thats what Alvin is running and it looks great on those wheels.
