It doesn't scrape and the shocks don't bottom out. Lowering is the only way to get any decent amount of front camber since SpecZ doesn't (yet) allow adjustable control arms.

Default Good deal on some Enkeis- experience needed!

Hey guys, I found a good deal on some Enkei RSVs but I don't know enough about them to determine whether or not they'd be a good fit for the Z.
They're used and the seller listed only the following:
size is 18x7.5
they are 5 lug universal
and of course pictures.
I was able to dig up the following from an older online posting for a similar wheel sale (same model) :
Offset: +45
Bolt pattern: 5x112 & 5x114.3

I assume that means that the offset is the same on both the front and rear wheels and +45 seems high to me...

Can someone that knows more about wheels chime in on what you think?
My main concern is that they'll be even more recessed in the rear wheel well than the oem touring v1 wheels are, with such a high offset, which I do not want. Then again, I don't know near enough about wheels...

7.5 is also a bit thin, I think, but did I mention that its a great price?
Ideally I'd pick up a decent used set of lightweight works for under 2k but I don't have that to play with right now and these seem like they could keep me happy until spring.

Thanks in advance!
-Adam

As its been covered 10,000,000 time before. NO, pass on them.

You want a reason why then search.

I was asking about a specific wheel that I don't have complete specs for hoping that someone would recognize it or have owned a set in the past.
This isn't a "is this wheel okay?" thread posted by someone unwilling to learn the basics of wheel sizing and offset as your implying.
Jesus, people on this forum can be so rude sometimes...

I think the oem wheels are around a 30 offset, 45 is too high, its not going to look great, and I wouldnt go with a 7.5 wide rim, get something wider..

Jesus noobs can be so idiotic on this forum sometimes. Clearly you are unwilling to learn, if you would have done any research on here AT ALL you would have already known that those spec don't work on the Z regardless of who makes the wheel or how good of a deal you're getting. The reason people get rude with people is because they ask the same damn questions over and over that have been asked since the Z came out.

I think I agree, thanks for your input. Keeping my eyes open for something better suited to the z's unusual body

Sounds like a great wheel for my Juke, or maybe something to use as a spare on my Z

it may be a good deal but not for your Z. those are s2000 specs. 7.5 isn't wide enough for our cars and the offset is higher than oem. you're better off saving your money for the wheels you want. keep looking!
