Just ordered a set of matte Bronze RPF1s , contemplating tire sizes
thinking of Hankook RS3s
245/40ZR18 F
275/35ZR18 R
Anyone running the above setup, is it too much stagger (under-steer)? Does it rub with 1" drop (tein S techs) ?
Any tire size suggestion for the RS3s . . i need to order tires soon . . i dunno why all of a sudden my rear tires just went bald
Thanks

Ideally would want 255 40 18 for fronts, but the size does not exist for RS3s

Man, do I love big tires, especially RS3s.
^^ Sorry i didnt post before . . the wheels are 18x9.5 /18.10.5 +15
Here are the things that Im considering . . . . i think its making the decision process quite complicated . . . or maybe im loosing my head
So basically i was hoping to keep F/R tire size difference around 20 or less, so as to not increase under-steer than what it already is. Also didnt want a super heavy steering - so thinking of a 255 size max in the front. And to top that off, was hoping to keep the fronts a ratio 40 so that ABS and speedo arent too much off.
Coming to the back I just want to avoid rolling fenders unless absolutely required - I was thinking of getting 275 35 18 as i heard it does not rub even with a slight (<1 inch) drop.
Again some ppl say it dosent rub . . some say you need a roll . . kinda confusing
But i cant find a tire combo which fits the above requirements, all that i can come up with are the following
Hankoor Ventus RS3
255/35ZR18 F
275/35ZR18 R
265/40ZR18 F
275/35ZR18 R
or
Advan Neova
255/40R18 F
265/35R18 R
Any suggestions will be appreciated

245/40/18 and 275/35/18 is factory size for a BMW M3, that's where I got them from. Usually you can find people selling them off of an M3 for cheap.
but isnt the steering too heavy with the 265 in the front ? 265 seems to be too much tire for the front
Also, anyone have issues with ABS on a 35 in the front ? They say stay within 3% of diameter of OEM tire diameter . . . risk of brake failure ? ?
Is this 3% rule a front to back thing or is the OEM tire size hardcoded in some way ? ?

Ratio , you need to keep the same aspect ratio front and rear to avoid ABS/VDC issues. IE 265/35f and 285/35 rear or the normal 255/40f and 275/40 rear
255 35 18 F
275 35 18 R
It is done . . .
Thanks Guys
