Nope, very flush, Mexiflush would stick out further

And I'm allergic to stanced camber and stretched tires

I don't blame you

What I DO want:

You need to roll to get that look, as Scott mentioned above those are wide tires on wide wheels , with a lower offset. Stick to a 9.5 front and 10.5 rear with +15 and run a 265/35-18 front and 285-35-18 rear. it will be very close to what your looking for.

Ah, I didn't have a clue about the spoke design. Are all 8.5s convex regardless of offset?

The last pic I beleive is scott300 silver Z before the green paint. I would pm him. Hope I helped your journey

Indeed. I'm trying to get that fitment without rolled fenders or spacers. I guess Enkei doesn't make RPF1s in the geometry I want :/

But I would need more negative camber than stock to clear the fenders, no?

That 9.5" in the back sticks out exactly as much as I want. Same color car, too. The front needs +5 more, I think. Wonder what offset that is. Hmm... maybe do a square setup? Or too much oversteer?

checked specs on Enkei's site again. They have 9.0 with +35 offset. The car above probably runs 8.5 with +30. 9 w/ +35 would be 2mm out more (according to the wheel offset calculator). I can live with that. Now, are 9s concave or convex?

With the rears rolled you can run OEM camber, the fronts will require .2 to .5 more camber than factory spec. Scott's car is the pic you like probably has 2x or 3x more front camber than factory spec.

Thank you. 9.5 +15 for rears it is then (should be 12mm more fender clearance vs 10.5 +15).

Does anyone know a shop that can achieve the SBC finish? Or am I looking at dipping the wheels? I want to "lighten"(color wise) the car up. Id trade someone a square set of 18x10.5 +15 for a silver set?

Chris
I looked into that for the longest time. The closest thing I found was Black Chrome powdercoat.

Or you could polish them yourself, although its extremely time consuming and frustrating. (Especially since RPF1's have alot of spokes, im doing my XD9's right now and even that sucks)

Chrome dipping is also an option. Ive heard some people say it adds quite a bit of extra weight while others say it doesnt add much.

What I ended up doing was just selling my Black RPF1's outright and picked up brand new SBC's on black friday for really cheap.
