Wondering if anyone can tell me if they think I could benefit from using spacers to better fit the wheel well, or if I need to get wider tires. I currently have 245/35/20 and 255/35/20 and looking down the line the fenders hang over quite a bit especially in the rear. Any advice would be appreciated thanks. Here is a picture:

Hey guys I just bought some wheels 19x10 +35 offset for the rear and I'm thinking on getting 275/35/19 tires I'm looking for that nice flush look so my question is would I be needing spacers to get that flush look with the specs I just mentioned.
Thanks guys I would really appreciate the responses

20 or 25mm spacers, pretty much you are at the point that you should crapcan the wheels and buy new ones.

hey guys, i have an 08 with the oem 03-05 touring wheels (6 spoke) 18x8 all around. i have stock suspension right now

i am gonna go with 245/40 for the fronts and 265/40 for the rears, with these tire sizes, would 20mm rear and 15mm front spacers be best without having to roll fenders? or can i go as wide as 25mm or 30mm in the rear?

again not looking to get my fender rolled plus im not the biggest fan of wheels poking way out.

thanks.

Default Need some help with wheel spacers.

The Z that I bought has xxr 522 wheels on it, and I'm not sure what size they are for sure. My front wheels have 245/45r18 tires and the rears have 275/40r18s. Am I correct to guess that the rim sizes are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5? I'm looking to get the tires flush with the car, and wondered if anyone has any insight to what size spacers I may need to get the job done.

No way to know the wheel specs unless they're printed on the back of the wheel or you do measurements yourself with the tire off the wheel. Just measure from the top of the tire to the fender.. and thats what size spacer you should get.

Feel free to post pics

Just measure how much space you have between your tire and fender and get that much spacer. it takes 30 seconds. 80 seconds if you're in the rain. Actually, it'll take a lil longer cuz you'll have to convert inches to millimeters. But you can plug that right into google.

Installation of up to 5mm thick slip on spacer is acceptable with out replacing your oem studs and many have done so and have had no issues..........your a smart puppy, you decide......

Here are examples:
Now, the 4th pic shown are the crappy ebay specials......non car specific, "UNIVERSAL aluminum cast spacers". I would NOT run theses. If i were to consider a slip on style. i would purchase a machined spacer over a low void cast one any day.
Crappy "universal" cast material slip ons - NO!!!:

once again, your a smart puppy, you decide...

*EDIT -
REPLACEMENT STUDS FOR THE Z HUB UTILIZE A 14MM KNURL ON THE STUD!

Does anyone have a PepBoys or Auto Zone part number for studs for 15mm spacers?

I have aftermarket lugs right now and I'm looking to purchase some ichiba spacers with studs (25mm front/30mm rear), is it okay to install aftermarket lugs on to spacers with studs or should I use the factory lugs?

So everyone seems to like the option select spacers so I ordered 2 pairs. I'm in South Africa and use a re shipping service in the USA.

Today they sent me pics of the spacers that arrived. Now tell me if I'm wrong, but these do NOT look hub centric to me. There seems to be some loose ring in the centre of the spacer. I can't tell if that's some kind of loose hub centric ring or if it's a spigot ring to centre the wheel. Either way, hub centric to me means there must be a hub centric ring machined on the spacer itself.

This is what I bought:

This is what I got:

Am I missing something here? I'm not happy with these and have opened a case with ebay. But so much admin and delays.

Anyone have issues with the z1 spacers? I am thinking of rather picking up a set from them.

Trying to get new replacement bolts and nuts for my front Z Ichiba spacer (20mm Front). I measured the bolt being 2.6mm from end to end. I found the nuts on CZP for 2.50 a piece, but the bolts they sell are 60mm in length which from my crappy math calculations are too long to work with the stock wheels.

I contacted Ichiba for info but haven't heard back from them, does anyone know the correct bolt dimensions? Thanks!

Hello all. Ive been searching trends all day and just can't find the answer I'm looking for. I have a 2003 350z performance model with the stock track 18 inch wheels. 8 on the front and 8.5 in the rear. The car is stock hight. I currently have 225/40/18 all around... I hate it. I'm looking to get 235/40/18 tires on the front and 255/40/18 tires in the rear. I want to put some spacers in the front and rear to flush my wheels with the fender, but not further then the fender. What size spacers should I use? Going for the simply clean look. I'm new and this is my first post so THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
