Question 38mm+ Spacers?

Howdy folks,

So to start off, yes. I did read the ENTIRE Spacer Sticky Thread. However it didn't answer my concerns.

How much is too much? I wanna throw on some 1.5" spacers (38mm)

Can you put on the same size spacers for front or back? or does it have to be staggered?

Thanks!

Edit: Not sure if this matters, but the fender is rolled AND I have 1.5 degrees of negative camber on front and back.

Yes, you can run 1.5" spacers no problem. Plenty of people run 1.5" and wider spacers on Jeeps. You can run the same spacers front and back as wheel.

Not sure, all I know is its all stock, besides the camber. I have some Tein springs, not sure if that helps.

Im guessing you have stock wheels...No you do not have to run the same size, nor do you have to run staggered. Up to you.

Measure from the top of the tire to the edge of the fender. Buy appropriate sizes spacers. Yes it can be the same size on all 4 corners or staggered.

So far I've seen 25mm - 30mm. 25 puts you almost flush and 30 puts you a little past flush.

So i dont need centric rings? What if its off balance because of no ring. Is that ok? My tire lug wont break off or damage the suspention because of the vibration?

Default Spacer issue

Hey guys,

I just installed 1.5 inch spacers. They look sick, I love them. However, no one makes centric rings for that size space. I have vibration after install, same type as unbalanced tires. My question is, do I NEED rings? Will anything get damaged if I dont us them?

No hub ring will be needed with a hub centric spacer like the ones you buy from http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=4215 you will only need hub rings with aftermarket wheels.

What brand spacers, are they hub centric, what wheels are you using.

The good quality spacers have hubcentric rings that can be purchased in different sizes for different wheels. A good example is Project Kics.
