Default Wheel locks ?

I'm wondering if anyone is using more than one wheel lock on their aftermarket wheels. I was talking to a guy that told me it's pretty easy for people to steal wheels that only have one lock on them, but impossible for ones that have two locks.

wheel locks will not prevent your wheels from being stolen they will only slow the crooks down. my advice if you dont want them stolen get as many different locks as you can find even 20 different ones.

An alarm with a shock sensor helps to, so when they beat the socket on your fancy wheel locks it might go off.

yeah, more than one helps, but either way its just to slow down thieves......the best thing to keep your car from being stolen is a good defense...

good alarm

least two wheel locks

most important - taking the time to park in high traffic/visible areas....areas where you can see your car from the window (if possible), etc...etc..

and good insurance for if and when.....

I see no reason not to have them... The cost is insignificant when compared to other lugs, and while they might not stop crooks every time, they are 1,000,000,000% better than having nothing... The last three wheel jack threads I have been in, 0 of them have had any locks... To say that wheel locks are useless, is like saying door locks are useless, because they can just break your window to get in if they want... My .02...

I have two sets of locks on my volks. Fortunately for me, i don't live or work in such a bad neighborhood, so i feel a little safer with my Z parked outside all the time. A set of locks ran me $20, so for me, that is a small price to pay to feel a little more safer. And i got them from a vendor from here - mrwong@statik - nice guy!
