I want to mount 305/30/19 on the rears, stock is 35 series but the tire calculators are recommending me to go 30 series to make up for the tallness. I am on stock height, OEM suspension, fenders aren't rolled nor pulled. My question is will I run into any fitment issues with this set up? Will I need spacers or roll the fenders or will it fit just right?
No 305 on a 10" wheel. You should get four 18s and go square with 275/35/18 all around. You'll love it.

The reason I'm buying the Nismos is because the seller is giving me a great deal on them with 2 free front tires, plus I like the design on them and the GT rims. Just want a wider set up for now. Fronts will be going wider once it wears out, prolly 275/40/18 or possibly 285s. So 305 is far too wide for this thread and the rim itself is what you're saying? Would 295s be better choice? I want to go the widest possible with no fitment issues, and she is going to be lowered soon in the future.

not as fat as most of you but the tires fill the wheels perfectly.

Thanks, is it me or does it look like they're running spacers.

Yes they are and it looks great. I'd go with 265 and 285 and then get some spacers to flush the wheels, that's just me though.

It does look good. For the time being I just need new tires and came upon a great deal I couldn't pass up. Hopefully it doesn't look too bad without spacers, lowering it and spacers will be a while away.

You definately are getting a great deal! But people are right 285 is the farthest I go on that rear wheel. We ran a 275/35 nitto nt555 which run wide and the tire looked pretty fat.

im widening my volks to an 11 rear and looking to throw some 305/30/19 on them. the fatness will ensue!

how awkward will the car handle with 8.5 fronts on 245/35/19's and 19x11 305/30/19?

I have close to the same sizes, I found 255/35 fronts to make the VDC happy though with a 305/30/19... Steering is a tad sloppier than stock sizes, I got used to it though.

I ran 255/30/20 f and 295/25/21 r fine
Then 255/30/20 f and 305/25/20

My ghetto math says same but 35 series on 19s work.

I didnt think it drove as well as the 295s as it does w the 305s, so im with ak48z on driveability. But its All about your needs. I need traction. Lol

I think that traction will be a problem for you no matter what. My father's stock Z06 will break 'em loose in 3rd gear and that's with 345/20's on 20"x12's out back. Either way, I cant wait to see the finished project

I love this thread so much

Haha, thanks. I think I am just going to sell the tires and get the 295's, then lower and align the car with the 295's
