I want to run wider tires on my 03 enthusiast. I was wondering how fat I could go without rolling the fenders. I want to keep the stock ride height as well. I have no plans of lowering the car, its just not my cup of tea... plus louisiana roads don't really allow for it

Depends on wheel width and offset. 305s easy, even 315s in the rear, 285 front easy, maybe more.

my wheels are +22 offset, 9.5 - 19 .. and when i kept the Invos 35-285 in the rear they rubbed the fender.. then i had to roll them..

Found a clip of my Z from Houston Cars & Coffee in Feb. Took a screen shot of the the fitment of the rear wheels.

And in case I'm asked again...

HRE P43SC wrapped in Toyo R888 tires
305/30-19x11 +25.

^^^ woow! prefect fitment Robert! using 30 profile you can put a wider tire.

with 35 u will be limited to 295.. i guess!

I'm actual consider a 275/30 or 285/30 front and 315/30 rear. We'll see. Working on my G37S fitment first.

I've looked at them but not a fan on the Blueslate. Plus think I'm going to keep this simple and no carbon theme.

i have been running toyo r888's 295s on 18x10's and 315s on 18x12's for some months now, although very stiff sidewall car handles great and hooks very well.

resting height it looks flush and full compression there is more room, as i said before , r888 335 will fit with the right height and camber settings, and if you are familiar with r888 you know they run extremely wide for their sizes. Which then its safe to say some 345's will also fit, again with the right combination of "ifs" . Of course fender pulling is a must.

i was going to put the 335's after i wore out this set, but my power goals have changed and now i will be going with 28 inch tall sticky mickeys 345/35/18's, and YES i know i can make them fit.

for a compact the z chassis has massive room for big rubber, its all in the details guys, and that does not mean you have to be running -3 camber either

note: this was the very first set of wheels i ever measured/bought , so anyone with a tape measure, common sense and some patience can achieve nearly any wheel combo on this car.

guys, i need some input for my fronts. right now i got 255-40 on a 18x8.75 +5 (same poke as a 18x10 +20) my front fenders do have a pull on them, see pic, an i wanna go to a 18x10 +15 with a 275-35 Michelin pss tire. (fyi, im on coilovers with 12 k springs in the front.)

right now its a d 350mile a week DD, so i dont want rubbing. and the main reason im upgrading is to kill my mid corner understeer when i autocross or cruise the hills.

so what do you guys think? should i do this or go to a 18x9+15 and put spacers on.

You should fit. My need to do something up front. Looking for enkeis I have some for sale I had 18x10.5 +15 front with a 265.Pretty low. By no means "slammmmmmed"

It's a tough call when it's that close and small/slight unknown variables come into play. If you have upper control arms, you could dial in a bit more camber and pull off that setup no problem though (I have 18x11 +15 on the front of my Z, with 285/35/18 Hankook RS3's, ~ -3.5 camber, pulled fenders and don't have any rubbing whatsoever).

The 18x10 +15 would obviously stick out another 5mm more (assuming your math is correct) from where your current rims sits - which wouldn't be a problem. With the 275/35/18 Michelin PSS (which runs fairly wide relative to the RE760 I believe), you would likely end up with a similar stretch as your current setup (see pic of 18x10/PSS 275/35/18 to get an idea http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8030/7...05d85a8d_c.jpg), so the tire would likely only stick out another 5mm or so from your current combo...which you could probably get away with (in terms of clearance), due to camber gain as the suspension travels.

But please don't take my word for it though, as these ones can be hard to call at times and you can never really be certain it will work until you physically do so lol. Best of luck
