Default Another terrible question...

1. Can you fit a 255/35/19 tire on an 8" rim? (tire rack said yes but I don't know if I trust them)

2. Can you/has anyone successfully ran a 255/35/19 / 275/35/19 set up without any problems?

Stock height. 8" front rim , 9.5" rear rim.

1. I wouldnt, but its possible, yes....hazardous, yes

2. yes, but few if any on YOUR rim specs

EDIT: I would go with a 245/35/19 in the front at max with a 8" rim

If you go to the tires manufactures web site the size will tell you what size wheel to run.

255 is pushing it on an 8" wheel. Maybe the particular tire you are referring to is more narrow than other 255s, and that's why TTR said it was ok. 245/275 are more appropriate for your 8/9.5 combo.

25.4mm per inch. Hence you've got a good inch on each side of tire bulbage (technical measurement!)

yah I know 245/275 is the most appropriate setup, and its currently what I'm running. I just found a great deal on some 255's and thought I might be able to beef it up in the front.

My other question with it was the VDC factor. Would it engage due to this?
