Droid, I'm with you on the 3M products. They are the best. I've used everything and 3M lasts the longest and is easy to use.

I've never used 3m products on my car, but I do think they make a lot of cool ****. Do you have to order the stuff you're talking about, or can I pick it up locally?

Your car looks a lot better than the stuff I've been using (Mother's, McGuires Gold), and I was going to buy Zaino, but yours paint looks nice.

Unfortunately, I'm in the minority here of people who actually drive the **** out of the car. Looking aggressive doesn't do sh/t for you on the track. 19s are for cruisers.

If you can stomach going into Pep Boys, $10 a bottle.

I believe the proper term is "Boulevard Pimp."

Droid,
That looks sweet. I almost went with that same setup, but I opted for the Gram Light 57 Pros instead. Nice stuff.

Do 19s really hurt the handling abilities of the car that much?

Do light weight 19's really hurt the handling abilitys of the car that much? Or accel.? Light weight as in at least two pounds lighter per wheel then stock 17's.

That's funny. I'm far from a cruiser, but have it your way. I guess cars like the Ferrari Enzo and new Ford GT, with their larger wheels, are just cruisers too.

If you're serious about driving on the track, you'd have 16's or 17's, not 18's. Anyway, enjoy driving the **** out of your car.

Do you track your car on 19s? IMO, you don't compare supercars to the little ole 350. It's not a valid comparision. Point is you can run on 18s no problem and yes, 17s are better, but 18s are the compromise between street and track.

To me, 19's are the best compromise of looks and handling (both of which improved dramatically with the Volks and Toyos).

There are a couple of things to keep in mind here:

1- larger rims = more weight, larger tires = more weight, larger rims + larger tires = more weight

2- cars that come w/ 19" or 20" rims from the factory probably have a sidewall size comparable to the sidewall size of the 350 w/ factory 18" rims; sidewall flex is a concern for the track, but for the track and the street, the factory 18" sidewall size provides a good compromise

I personally, would opt for 17" rims to make track tires more affordable.

Michael.
