I called Rick multiple times today, phone is disconnected.

 

 

Well..Rick just called me to let me know that some of my stuff will be here shortly...during our talk he said that his phones were down at the shop and would be back up tomorrow or the next day. Looking forward to getting them all...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

 

Good to know he didn't go MIA. Wish he would call me though...

Rick even took the time to post in that thread. Maybe y'all should migrate over there since he's more active over there.

I know you're a busy man and I assume you log on (370z forum) daily checking for new quotes... while you're at it, it doesn't take that much time to make one measly post here saying: I'm still here, waiting for updates or working on your refund etc...

Had you been calling the waiting members letting them know about the latest update... they wouldn't be bumping this thread.

Hmmm just came back from the 370 boards and I am disgusted by the fanboy comments =(

Granted, Rick has provided me some updates over the phone for my wheels before I left Cali and appreciate it... the problem I saw on that forum were the high posted/fanboys busting out their digital d1cks and talkin' down to the other members who clearly brought up a legit opinion/issue. And of course, a lot of things get swept under the rug there as I saw posts deleted from certain threads. I'm sure you guys see it too. pretty sad.

I think those fanboys **** me off more than not actually having my wheels yet.

 

I posted my opinions in the thread and when refreshing the thread I saw the following forum message

"You have been banned for the following reason:
Trolling ll Violation of forum rules"

A forum I also frequent daily (yet I don't post, just browse) and I am banned for voicing my opinion publicly. All valid points regarding a vendor who is not doing his job properly and treating his customers with absolutely no respect.

 

That's why I was hesitant to start the thread lol. It was only up for 6 hours or so before being locked.

 

Rick is the gawd of all vendors.
Dude is untouchable here, there and all the other forums he's a vendor of.
All the prominent members have his back so...

I'm assuming some members here and over there don't like "wheeldude" Dan for selling Rota's in the past but he knows about customer service whether if it's good or bad and threw in his 2 cent... freedom of speech

 

Rick emailed me last night, phone lines are getting fixed..He also told me part of the deal will be handled in a couple days...So yeah, he is still around..I told him, their is a grip load of folks on my350z looking for him...LOL

So i was slightly concerned too. I went to Ricks shop after work yesterday and he was right outside as I pulled up.

I can assure all of you that Rick is not going anywhere. I went inside his facility and they are still very much operational, with many cars in their bay getting work done. I asked Rick what happened to his phone system, and he explained that he's been having issues with ATT and the phone system they run recently died on them. They are in the process of switching service providers because they've been having issues for quite awhile now.

I've known Rick for about a year now so he gave me a run down and rant on all the issues that are going on on a more personal level so I kind of feel for his situation. This is not justifying all the mess that people are going through waiting for their wheels, but i fully believe that he is doing the best he can.

Rick showed me some of the future plans and ideas he has for wheels that will make his business much more streamlined and controllable in the future. Unfortunately right now as many of you know, he's at the mercy of Work and his importer.

Anyways, not trying to defend Rick, but i just wanted to let everyone know he hasn't gone missing and he isn't trying to hide from anyone. In fact, I found out he owns a restaurant and went there for dinner with my family. So now he for sure can't hide from me. lol.

hope this alleviates some of the worries out there.

 

this isn't resolved yet? just seems crazy to me.

Phone lines are up and running. Well, i talked to David today. Rick was out of the office. I'll call him Monday, I asked if anymore wheels came in. He said a couple sets. All venacis, no works, couple mesh and five star wheels. I hope these are somebodys wheels on this thread.

 

No Works?? Oh No!! Looks like im putting too much hope for the 14th.. It feels much worst when someone gives hope but in the end gets nothing out of it!! So frustrated to hear the news....

 

I'm waiting on Venacis! Maybe I'll get lucky and one will be mine this time. I ordered a 5 spoke set.

 

The rims taking forever is what it is....not an acceptable situation, but I guess you deal with the hand you are dealt...what I don't understand is why it's taking forever to get refunds, that has no redeeming excuse to me...

 

Yeah that rough, espcially when you have been waiting as long as you have. I can't imagine what the problem is that it takes this long.
