Winters - 2007 350z Touring Coupe
Good evening all!
I just joined the forum as I am purchasing a 2007 350z Touring Coupe in the next few days. I plan on driving this vehicle year round so, obviously, I have some concerns about driving this vehicle in the winter. I have researched quite a bit but cannot find any definitive information on what brand or size of winter tires best suit this car. This vehicle currently has 18" wheels. I am leaning towards getting 17" Blizzaks but not sure if all 4 should be equal. If anyone has any recommendations as to what would be the safest setup for winter tires/rims it would be greatly appreciated.

I bought some cheap rims with 18" Blizzaks - DD all year round. I've never had any issues or regrets. My commute is just over 70 miles a day (total) too.
Bought a 335 with the sport package and it came with the same Potenza RE050As as the Z. Did the same for that too: additional rims with Blizzaks.
Lots of websites, like tirerack, will instantly tell you what sizes and brands are appropriate for your car.

There's got to be hundreds of "driving in the snow" threads, this topic has been beaten to death

Winters in Southwestern Virginia are too unpredictable and if I get stuck out in a bad snow storm I would be hurting. There were some times I never thought I would get home and I was in my WRX so I can't even imagine the Z. There is a mountain I have to cross and I doubt the Z with snow tires would get up it.
