Excessive Tire Noise
I have a 2003 Z Touring. Issue is that since I purchased the car back in April it has had a humming noise when driving. It's like when you have very aggressive tires on a truck. Tires are Toyo Proxy 2's. They have good tread. Noise is starting to get to me!
If tires are severely worn or your alignment is out you will hear excessive road noise from the tires
I suggest having a competent shop inspect your tires, alignment, and in some cases Lower Control Arm bushings to see if any of those are the culprit

Could be several things, as others have said tire feathering, Alignment, bushings gone bad or even the quality of the tires you have. I'm not to familiar with Toyo Proxies but I would read the reviews on tire rack or something to see if it is prone to road noise.

The 350z coupe is comparable to a mini-station wagon; the rear tire well is inside the vehicle. This arrangement sends tire noise a directly to the car’s interior (i.e., tire/road noise is very significant in the 350z coupe).
Installing sound deadening or mounting tires that run more quietly reduces the road noise, but you’re still inside a “station-wagon.”
The fix is a G35/37 or a Z roadster. These cars have the rear tires inside the trunk, and they have less road noise.
