Default Bigger wheels/tires

Im new to the z world i have an 04 350z track. Im getting into putting a mix of performance mods and aesthetic mods to make it look nice. But right now i want a bigger wheel and tire setup that would fit my car and im not sure how big i can make them before they wont fit. And any recommendations on nice looking 5 spoke wheels would be nice. Also looking into the michelin pilot sport 4s to put on the new wheels i get.

Welcome- if you're looking to add a mix of performance and aesthetic mods to your track Z, start by not degrading the original package. While you don't mention what you mean by "larger" wheels and tires (larger diameter? Increased width? more aggressive offset?), keep in mind that the 18 X 8.0 and 18 X 8.5 Rays alloys are a good combination of low weight and high strength. Go up to a 19 or 20" wheel and you're bound to increase the unsprung weight and sap acceleration, braking and handling of your Z. Do a search of this site and you'll find plenty of wheel questions/suggestions like yours, but not much advice like this.

If I do decide to go with a different setup and buy new wheels then I probably will end up selling them.

I guess to be more specific then, i want a larger width for some grip. Also if offset does anything to see what other people recommend for their offset so I could have any positive impact on the handling or anything like that.

Just get spacers! I would totally keep the track wheels. Comparable weight wheels are gonna run you minimum $1200

”....if offset does anything.....”

Offset is EVERYTHING. Diameter and width is secondary.

+22 is a decent, no-fuss offset for garden variety 9.5/10.5

+15 is better but may require rolling guards.
