Maybe you should search through the forum and see if anyone has the same exhaust you have and if there is a fix.

That metal you speak of is a brace to reinforce the vehicle.

If you can't adjust the pipes to fix it then get some header wrap and wrap that part of the pipe so it won't rattle.

Do you think that if i bring it to a auto shop...they could somehow raise the fitment a little because i still need to get the resonators welded back on.

There should be some kind of fix for that, unless it is an uncommon exhaust cause I haven't seen any on here that did'nt have a fix. I wouldn't remove any supporting pieces of the car just for an exhaust

Well if he needs to get the resonators welded back on, I would say it is not a bolt on exhaust system cause that should have resonators and should fit great. An exhaust shop should definitely be able to do whatever you want and make sure it doesn't rub.

you want to put some shims there to push it down...

i have about 6mm's of metal in there to push it down... my car is as low as I can go, it scrapes on some things... but then again the whole bottom does over speed bumps... nothing to be harmed though...

here is a pic of where they should go.. just under the screws...

if you order something from us, put a note in the comments section and I can add some shims for $2.00
