Alignment Question
Hey guys so I have a 2004 350z roadster, I love this car, I just bought it a few months ago and am noticing the inside of both front tires is wearing. Now I have done extensive research and saw that the 2003 and 2004 had issues with this. I was under the impression that it was due to camber and the fact that without an aftermarket camber kit camber could not be adjusted. So my question is will putting 19 inch wheels with wider tires fix this problem? Also I had an alignment done at a local Nissan dealership and they state my car is not out of aligment but if I want them to, they could adjust the Toe to see if that fixes this problem. Would adjusting toe really fix this? Here is the print out from the dealership I don't understand how to read it if someone else does I would appreciate some input. Thanks guys. By the way I am putting 370z wheels on the car the non nismo 19s.

No I have not I can't rotate them because of the staggered fitment. I have to replace the tires pretty soon as the fronts are downright dangerous to drive on now they have about 2/32nd tread everywhere except the inner 3 inches of both tires which is basically bald.

Before we go any further, does this '04 ZR have ANY suspension mods? When was it last aligned?
Also, the answer to your question is that 19" wheels and tires will NOT fix any alignment problems. They will take on the same wear patterns until the alignment itself gets fixed.

It was not aligned as when i took it to the dealership they checked the alignment and said it is in alignment, the picture is of the print out they gave me. i guess what i am wondering is do i just deal with the inner tire wear problem is that just the negative of having this car?

That's crazy, well maybe not so much. I've had the exact same problem happen on both my z and g35 (03 and 04 respectively). Inner tire wear on from tires. Even the alignment didn't seem to fix it all the way. I do not believe it is from camber, mine was farrr too on the inside. I would have to be running atleast 6* to have it wear in that fashion. I don't believe tires/wheels will do anything for the problem. It may be the acceptable factory toe in the front. Maybe the toe changes enough under compression to cause toe-out which rolls the sidewalls of the tires causing inner wear. That is my theory.
The simple answer would be, get the tires, wheels, alignment.
Call it a day
