You can get smaller, vacuum hose to run to your BPV. It doesn't need to be that big.

My v2 runs incredibly hot as well, especially on a warm day. Remember, the housing is going to run hot due to proximity of motor, no direct air flow for cooling, and gears spinning at tens of thousands RPM. Best proven mod I've seen to dat is Titek bumper mod mod to get direct air flow.

Edit: fully sorted now.

Next question, how close is that up pipe to your cog belts? Seems too close for comfort, but I think the engine torques away from it under load...

Default Vortech V-2 Rev-Up belt size

Hello everyone!

I am running Vortech 2005-2006 350Z "Rev-up" V-2 SQ SCi System (4NZ218-060SQ kit) on my '06 DE Rev-Up 350z European model.
My serpentine belt is about to break and I can't find exact part number for it.
My pulley is stock, which i believe is 3.12 for rev-up kit.

Please tell me part numbers for Gates or Goodyear belts or whatever. Maybe someone knows exact size for it, cause I don't think I'll find Gates in stock in my country.

Thanks!

For the US revup kits:

Goodyear part #4060935
Gate part #K060935

Get the gates belt if you can as it is superior to the stock goodyear belt

Can anybody confirm the cog belt pulley size that should be on the blower on a non-rev-up kit.

I bought a rev-up kit cheap, then bought the non-rev-up bracket assembly. Currently have a 32t on he jackshaft and a 32t on the blower. Doing some reading, I think I might need a 28t on thr blower, can anyone confirm?

Hey I saw some guys in past builds getting tuner kits for under $4k. Are there any more vendors on here that sell it for that cheap anymore? Cheapest I have found so far is just over $5k.
(For the DE kit)

You can piece a tuner kit together for under $2500 if you're looking to save money, just find a used head unit from the mustang kids (hey practically give them away) and the rest of the kit can be bought in pieces from Summit/Superchargersonline. I suggest buying the two really complicated pipes and fabbing the rest of the piping/intercooler. I got my Vortech setup on the road for about $3200 including the DW200 pump, GTR injectors and Uprev tuner.

I'm not trying to be skimpy with my money I have just seen a very wide range of prices so I wanted to see where the best place to purchase a kit would be. I'll look into getting my own kit together, thanks.

Hey guys,

Just wondering what you guys think of my setup for my 04 FX35. I read through this whole thread and pulled together what everyone was using in their setups. I plan to get it tuned using uprev once everything is installed.

-Vortech V3 Tuner Kit with 3.12 pulley - I also have a 2.87 pulley. Do you think it would safe for me to go to the 2.87 pulley with my set up on the stock block? I've read some say yes and some say no. I am shooting for about 400whp but no more than that.
-GTR R35 570cc OEM Injectors
-Uprev GT Maf
-Walbro 255 Fuel Pump (no RFS since I need to pass smog in Cali)
-NGK Iridium Sparkplugs - 1 Step colder
-MotorDyne 5/16" ISO Thermal Space
-Fujitsubo Legalis R 3inch Exhaust
-M2 Performance Y-pipe(Might go back to the OEM HR Y-pipe because I am getting a good amount of rasp)
-Berk Technology High Flow Cats
-PLX Wideband AFR/Boost Gauges

Im about to change the oil on my V3 but I was wondering how many of you actually use the full 4oz of oil?
I found this link and saw on a few other forums people having similar issues (oil coming out of the vent plug) https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-oil-leak.html
so I was wondering if I should put in a little less to prevent that same issue?

P&k350Z tracks his car so I could see why the oil will spill out but what about for a street car? Would the 4oz be alright?

Also does the blower have to be removed to change the oil? I figured I could just measure how much comes out and put the same amount of new oil in. Doesn't seem like it needs to be removed unless your checking the oil level...

Ive received my vortech non revup complete kit and everything is there and I have questions

1) reviewing the instructions i dont see anything about assembling the cog belt idler pulley so any pics or diagrams would be greatly appreciated

2) i have the Paxton black box as mentioned i the instructions P# 5A001-353 BUT...
I also received a larg black carton labeled Unidchip with a hand written sticker 5A003-350 containing a Q+ 0148D silver device and a slighty larger black device with no real model number except it has unichip PNP technology. There is nothing about the unichip boxes in the instructions but they themselves came with instructios.

do i use both systems ? or just one of them ?
