rx7's are hot too, mine was 88 rx like the 90's also! hard to find in good condition tho

 

Hey, I also live in a small town and the car gets looks all the time. I have gotten used to it, and most times I act like I don't notice but sometimes I'm like WTF?? One time I was going down a one-way road with a car next to me (we were both going the speed limit) and I saw a group of 4 people conversing on the side of the road about a block ahead. I did nothing to draw attention like speed up or rev my engine(no 10w7 yet either!!!) and all 4 appeared to stop talking and stare at my car driving by.

The thing I hate the most is the "how fast does it go?" crap from complete strangers. And when I tell them that I have only gone 120 one time, the standard reaction is "that's it?"

This has happened to me 3 times in the year that I've owned the car. I've come to expect it from my friends, but when complete strangers ask it, I always end up pissed off!!! To me, it's not all about the top speed, it's the 0-100mph that's the most fun.

I think from now on I tell them I did 120....in first gear!!!

Ofcourse right after I post this I notice the "how fast have you gone" thread.
So I feel obligated to say that everyone here falls into the "friends" catagory and would be honored to answer that question from any fellow 350z owners.

Not much abrew here.. but then again.. i am never stuck in traffic and i dont drive city streets.. and when i do drive my car it is in the middle of the night.. I NEED BLING BLING WHEELS to catch the eyes of some sexy ladies...
