just got a Z forgot where i put my manuel what type of gas should i put in it?

premium?/whatever the best the pump will put out (91 or 93 depending on where you live).

I put 87 in mine. With gas prices being as absurd as they are there's no way in hell I'm buying 93.

i put 100 octan to try it out.... gained alittle on the top end... not worth 4.99 a gallon....

Congrats...you saved $5.00!! Now your engine can be potentially be F&&ked up and you can then spend $500 to fix it. Hope that $5.00 was worth it.

BTW commenting on the use of 87 octane... I use 93 and i still have to octane boost from the autoparts store to keep it from ticking....

bottom line own a nice sports car that requires premium. put premium in it, end of discussion. gas prices are a ***** but its not your Z fault dont take it out on the Z
dont wanna put high end gas in the car? there are other options
just saw a cute commercial on TV last night for it. it gets 40 MPG!

I'm sure it'll be just fine. I put 87 in my LS1 Trans Am for three years and it ran like a beast.
Seriously...it's not a Ferrari. It will run fine on regular.
