Question amber reflector idea!?!

what does everyone think it would look like to totally remove the amber refloctors in the front bumper and replace it with some sort of mesh?

I like the idea, post some pics if you decide to do it.

The only thing I would be worried about is on those days its raining hard you might get water in there (where some electronics are located).

I agree with this statement. However I just changed out my amber reflectors for clear ones this past weekend and I wanted to share my observation that the OEM reflectors fit nicely, yet they are far from water-tight. So my point is that in a heavy enough deluge, water could still get in there through these openings with the standard reflectors in place. I would beware excess water in that space though, for the same reasoning to spare your electronics.

I'm certain when I had the wheel well covers off I saw the HID balasts in there. Although they're probably water resistant, I wouldn't want them too wet.

How about an aftermarket manufacturer making a LED turn signal indicator for that space??? That would look nice and serve a purpose.

Then do these cars have to worry about their electronics?

That is totally different, without the wheel well and the way your tires are turning, you are like hosing down the baliset with high speed pressure. Also look at the above body kits, I doubt people with those body kits stay home when it is raining.
